Jaime Eckert has extensive experience working with diverse psychiatric patient populations across multiple care settings.

Jaime began her career in mental health as a residential program counselor for Advocates, Inc., a non-profit human services agency in eastern Massachusetts supporting adults living with chronic and severe mental illnesses. She later worked as an inpatient nurse at Emerson Hospital's Behavioral Health Unit, providing direct care for patients with serious mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders.

 

In 2009, Jaime transitioned to her current role as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist. She began at Northeastern University Health and Counseling Services, providing medication management to college students and staff. She went on to serve chronically mentally ill patients with co-occurring substance use disorders at Bay Cove Human Services' Michael J. Gill Mental Health and Wellness Clinic in Jamaica Plain, MA.

 

Jaime has also provided care in community mental health settings through Advocates Community Counseling Services, working in their Marlborough and Framingham outpatient behavioral health clinics and their Psychiatric Emergency Services Program. Additionally, she has provided outpatient medication management services at LifeStance Health (formerly Commonwealth Psychology Associates) in their Newton and Boston offices.

Since 2018, Jaime has been providing telemedicine services to patients remotely.
